Charlie Kaufman to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award from Sarajevo Film Festival

Charlie Kaufman is about as unique a storyteller as there is. The Oscar winning writer has made classics like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind among, among many other thought-provoking movies. Well, the Sarajevo Film Festival has taken notice, deciding that this will be the year to bestow upon him their Lifetime Achievement Award.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kaufman is going to be receiving the Heart of Sarajevo honor. It’s another nice feather in the cap of the filmmaker, who does things unlike anyone else. As we await more work from the man, this honor at the festival is one worth celebrating. Congrats to him.
