First Trailer for ‘Kraven the Hunter’ Teases Sony’s First R-Rated Marvel Movie

The first trailer for Kraven the Hunter has been released online. Directed by J.C. Chandor, with a screenplay by Art Marcum, Matt Holloway, and Richard Wenk, the movie stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ariana DeBose, Russell Crowe, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, and Christopher Abbott.

The film is the fourth installment in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe and will be the first to have an R-rating. The plot synopsis reads, “Kraven the Hunter is the visceral story about how and why one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be. Set before his notorious vendetta with Spider-Man, Aaron Taylor-Johnson stars as the titular character in the R-rated film.”
