Submissions Have Opened for the 3rd Annual Critics Choice Super Awards!

On the heels of yesterday’s Critics Choice Awards, the Critics Choice Association has announced that submissions have now opened for the 3rd annual Critics Choice Super Awards, which celebrates the best in “fan-obsessed genres across both television and movies, including Superhero, Science Fiction/Fantasy, Horror, and Action.”

Eligible films and television series for nomination have to be released between January 1 and December 31, 2022, and aren’t limited to theatrical releases. Streaming-only and direct-to-VOD releases are also eligible.

Monday, January 16, 2023 – Submissions open
Friday, February 3, 2023 – Submissions close
Monday, February 6, 2023 – NomComs begin deliberation
Friday, February 17, 2023 – NomComs render official recommendations
Tuesday, February 21, 2023 – Nominations release released at 9:00 AM PT
Wednesday, February 22, 2023 – Nominees links sent to membership
Monday, March 6, 2023 – Final ballots emailed to membership
Tuesday, March 7, 2023 – Deadline for final ballots at 6:00 PM PT
Thursday, March 16, 2023 – Special Super Awards Winners Announcement released
