New Trailer Released for Whitney Houston Biopic ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’

Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for I Wanna Dance With Somebody, their upcoming biopic focusing on the life of Whitney Houston. Directed by Kasi Lemmons, the project was first announced in April of 2020, with Stella Meghie originally sitting in the director’s chair. Meghie remained as a producer on the project.

The film stars Naomi Ackie as the iconic singer, in a cast that also includes Ali Asghar Shah, Stanley Tucci, Ashton Sanders, Tamara Tunie and Nafessa Williams.
