On Monday, Marvel Studios premiered the official trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. This film marks the third foray into the Ant-Man world from director Peyton Reed. The film is set to hit theaters on February 17, 2023.
The film follows Scott Lang/Ant-Man, his daughter Cassie, and his friends, Hank Pym and Hope & Janet Van Dyne, after a mistake sends them all into the Quantum Realm. While there, they’ll all have to navigate the strange new world and the new dangers it brings, including the villainous Kang.
Returning to their roles are Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lily, and Michelle Pfeiffer. Kathryn Newton takes over the role of an aged-up Cassie, previously played by Emma Fuhrmann in Avengers: Endgame. Jonathan Majors returns as Kang, following up his introduction in the Disney+ series, Loki. The cast also includes Randall Park, the return of Corey Stoll as Yellowjacket, and Bill Murray.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be the 31st film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is set to kick off Phase Five. In heralding a new phase of the Multiverse Saga, and in bearing the return of one of Marvel’s most promising forthcoming villains, this new installment is certainly poised to be one of Ant-Man’s most grand adventures.
