‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley’ Adds Original Supporting Cast

Are you excited for the latest installment in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise? You should be. While set photos of the original supporting cast leaked a few weeks ago, they weren’t confirmed by trades or Netflix.

But The Hollywood Reporter has announced that not only Judge Reinhold‘s Billy Rosewood and John Ashton‘s John Taggart will rejoin Eddie Murphy‘s Axel Foley in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley, but that Paul Reiser and Bronson Pinchot will also reprise their respective roles as Jeffrey Freidman and Serge.

Alongside the cast from the original movies, Taylour Paige and Joseph Gordon-Levitt were also confirmed to star. The movie will be directed by Mark Molloy, with a screenplay by Will Beall. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah were originally on board to direct, but left the project to helm Batgirl, which has been cancelled by Warner Bros. Discovery in August. Molloy eventually replaced them in April 2022.
