Take a First Look at Brendan Fraser in ‘The Whale’ from Darren Aronofsky

One of the most anticipated movies of 2022 is Darren Aronofsky‘s The Whale. Not just because Aronofsky is an A-list talent, either, but because of the hype surrounding star Brendan Fraser‘s performance. With the film set to play at the Venice Film Festival, a first look at Fraser came our way yesterday. Today, you can check it out.

As you can see, Fraser looks like he’s more than transformed for the role. Adapted from his own play by Samuel D. Hunter, Aronofsky directs Fraser alongside Hong Cho, Samantha Morton, Sadie Sink, and more. Premiering at Venice, this film appears like it’s set to be a major awards player for A24.
