Bong Joon-ho’s ‘Mickey7’ Rounds Up Its Cast

It was previously announced that Bong Joon-ho‘s latest movie, based on Edward Ashton‘s Mickey7, would be an English-language film starring Robert Pattinson as the main protagonist and that Joon-ho would write, direct, and produce the film.

We now know more about the supporting cast of the movie, which was revealed by Deadline yesterday. In addition to Robert Pattinson, Toni Collette, Mark Ruffalo, and Naomi Ackie will be joining the cast of the movie. Ruffalo and Collette are in final negotiations to star, while Ackie’s deal has been finalized. Ruffalo was also cast in the HBO miniseries based on Joon-ho’s Parasite, which would mean that it would be the second time where the actor is cast in a project related to Joon-ho’s work.

Bong Joon-ho will also be producing the movie with Brad Pitt‘s Plan B, which will mark their second collaboration after they worked together with Netflix for Okja in 2017. Not much is known about the movie or its release date, but more details will be coming soon.
