Earlier in the week, CinemaCon had a bit of news to share in regards to the A Quiet Place franchise. While we know that A Quiet Place Part III is scheduled for 2025, most likely with franchise architect John Krasinski at the helm. At the same time, a spin-off within this world is coming next year. Initially, it was to be directed by Jeff Nichols, though he was recently replaced by Michael Sarnoski. Now, we actually know what it’s going to be called.
According to The Wrap, the title is going to be A Quiet Place: Day One. Presumably, this will feature a new cast, while dealing with the earliest days of the alien invasion we saw in the opening moments of A Quiet Place Part II. We’ll know more in the months to come, but this is a 2023 release to look forward to, especially with the Pig filmmaker behind it.
