Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul Set To Return for ‘Better Call Saul’ Finale

It was revealed this morning that the stars of the Breaking Bad TV series, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, will return for the final season of AMC’s Better Call Saul. The duo will reprise their respective roles as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, though it is unclear if it’s just going to be a cameo, a guest appearance, or a recurring role.

Co-creator of the show, Peter Gould, has announced the news rather directly during a panel at PaleyFest LA: “I don’t want to spoil things for the audience, but I will say the first question we had when we started the show was, ‘Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?’ Instead of evading, I’ll just say yeah. How or the circumstances or anything, you’ll just have to discover that for yourself, but I have to say that’s one of many things that I think you’ll discover this season.”

The star of the show, Bob Odenkirk, added the following: “If you can believe it, there’s more.”

Paul and Cranston reunited together for the 2019 Netflix film El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, during a flashback sequence, and it was teased by Gould previously that it would be great if the stars would reappear during the series. You can see the announcement tweet from the show’s official Twitter account below and see the final season starting April 18th on AMC.
