Shawn Levy to Direct ‘Deadpool 3’

Shawn Levy at the Netflix's season 2 premiere of 'Stranger Things' held at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, USA on October 26, 2017.

On the day The Adam Project releases, director Shawn Levy is looking at re-teaming with Ryan Reynolds again with the third film in the Deadpool franchise, which will be set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Cheaper by the Dozen director also worked with Reynolds on Free Guy, which was released last year and contained a few references to the MCU during the film’s final act.

Additionally, screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick will return, who collaborated with Reynolds to write the screenplay for the first two films. They will join Wendy Molyneux and Lizzy Molyneux-Logelin in writing the script.

No other details are known on the project, but it’s certainly an exciting addition to Deadpool 3, as it is (likely) looking ready to head into production at the beginning of next year!
