Bong Joon-ho and Robert Pattinson Team-Up With Latest Film

Bong Joon-ho has found his latest project, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter, on an untitled sci-fi movie set to be made at Warner Bros. Robert Pattinson is in talks to star in the movie, which would be an adaptation of Edward Ashton‘s Mickey7.

Described in The Hollywood Reporter, the book “centers on Mickey7, a man on an expedition to colonize the ice world Niflheim. This expendable employee takes jobs too risky for anyone else, and when he dies, he regenerates as a clone with most of his memories intact. When Mickey7 is presumed dead, he returns to the mission’s base only to see that a new clone, Mickey8, has taken his place.”

The book is set to be released during the first quarter of this year, though no details on a concrete release date, much like Bong Joon-ho’s adaptation, which will certainly entice moviegoers, but nothing is being laid out as of right now. Joon-ho is also currently working on an American re-telling of Parasite with Adam McKay for HBO Max, while Pattinson will be starring in The Batman, currently set to release on March 4th.
