Timeline Announced for the 2nd Annual Critics Choice Super Awards!

Earlier today, the Critics Choice Association announced the timeline for the return of the Super Awards. Yes, the 2nd Annual Critics Choice Super Awards is coming (which our editor Joey Magidson is Vice Chair of the Committee for), with nominations set to be announced on February 22nd. As for the winners, they will be revealed on March 17th. In the meantime, take a look at the timeline below…

The Critics Choice Association (CCA) is pleased to announce the return of the Critics Choice Super Awards, honoring the most popular, fan-obsessed genres across both television and movies, including Superhero, Science Fiction/Fantasy, Horror, and Action. Submissions for the 2nd Annual Critics Choice Super Awards will open on Monday, January 17, and winners will be revealed on Thursday, March 17. 
 

The window of eligibility for the Critics Choice Super Awards is January 1 – December 31, 2021. Eligible movies and series can be submitted here: https://supersubmissions.criticschoice.com/

January 17 – Submissions Open
 

February 4 – Submissions Close
 

February 7 – Nomination Committees begin consideration
 

February 18 – Nomination Committees render recommendations
 

February 22 – Critics Choice Super Awards nominations announced
 

March 7 – Final ballots go out to CCA members
 

March 8 – Deadline for returning final ballots
 

March 17 – Winners announced
