Greater Western New York Film Critics Association’s 2021 Film Award Winners Announced

Today, the Greater Western New York Film Critics Association (GWNYFCA) have announced the winners for their annual film awards. Both Michael Sarnoski’s Pig and Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog won the most awards of the ceremony, tied with three each, and Judas and the Black Messiah ran up with two respective awards. Here is the full list of winners:

Best Foreign Language Film: Drive My Car

Best Animated Film: The Mitchells vs. The Machines

Best Documentary: Summer of Soul (…Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised)

Best Director: Jane Campion, The Power of the Dog

Lead Actor: Nicolas Cage, Pig

Lead Actress: Kristen Stewart, Spencer

Supporting Actor: Daniel Kaluuya, Judas and the Black Messiah

Supporting Actress: Ruth Negga, Passing
