The ‘Verse! Episode 24: Zombies – ‘What If…?’ Zombies and Doctor Strange Gets Stranger

`

For this episode we catch up on a lot of cinematic universe-related video game news and also episodes 4 and 5 of Marvel’s series What If..? The animated Disney+ series goes unexpectedly darker with a Doctor Strange episode that had us on edge. Then there are zombies Avengers zombies and lots of them. The reaction from the team was more mixed but very entertaining. Both have very different tones are enjoyable in their own right.

Once you listen… let us know, do you agree or disagree with our takes? Are you enjoying What If…? We’d love to hear from you. Tell us all about it in the comments or on our Twitter page, @TheVerseCast where we also post news, games, and interact with our listeners.

Episode 24: ‘What If…?’ Doctor Strange Went Mental and Zombies

Listen to this episode from The ‘Verse! on Spotify. We cover the 4th and 5th episodes of Marvel’s ‘What If…?” that are about a world where Doctor Strange is more careless and selfish with his powers and then an episode where our favorite superheroes no longer have a taste for justice, just brains.

Steven Prusakowski has been a cinephile as far back as he can remember, literally. At the age of ten, while other kids his age were sleeping, he was up into the late hours of the night watching the Oscars. Since then, his passion for film, television, and awards has only grown. For over a decade he has reviewed and written about entertainment through publications including Awards Circuit and Screen Radar. He has conducted interviews with some of the best in the business - learning more about them, their projects and their crafts. He is a graduate of the RIT film program. You can find him on Twitter and Letterboxd as @FilmSnork – we don’t know why the name, but he seems to be sticking to it.
