‘The Many Saints of Newark’ to Open Inaugural Tribeca Fall Preview

When David Chase‘s hit mob drama series The Sopranos ended in June of 2007, fans all around the world were certain that it meant the last time characters such as Tony Soprano and Paulie Gualtieri would appear in any form of entertainment.

But, as we have learned a long time ago now, that’s not the case. The Many Saints of Newark, a prequel film detailing the early life of Tony Soprano and company, received its first trailer many months ago, promising a gritty mob story and one that will further enrich The Sopranos as a whole.

The film opens in theaters and on HBO Max on October 1st, but if you plan to attend the Tribeca Film Festival’s inaugural Fall Preview on September 22nd, then you will get to see it early.
