First Trailer for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is Finally Here!

Well, there you have it. The first trailer for the highly (highly) anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: No Way Home has finally dropped, and it’s as ambitious as everyone said it would be. After an unfinished version of the trailer leaked on TikTok, fans were wondering if a finished version would indeed release today, as Sony is currently presenting its slate of upcoming films at CinemaCon. It was indeed released for the whole world to see what Marvel’s first (real) adventure into the multiverse would look like. Here’s the official plot synopsis from Sony Pictures:

“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”

Spider-Man: No Way Home is directed by Jon Watts, with a screenplay from Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Among the confirmed cast is Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jon Favreau, J.B. Smoove, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jamie Foxx, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Alfred Molina, and, revealed in the trailer, Willem Dafoe. There are rumors that other variants of Spider-Man will show up, but that has remained unconfirmed by Marvel. You can watch the trailer below and see Spider-Man: No Way Home in theaters on December 17:
