The ‘Verse! Podcast #9 – A Mysterious Voice, WandaVision Eps 5 & 6, Loki and Chaos

It’s that time of the week to step into The ‘Verse! – the podcast where we visit different corners of the cinematic universes from Marvel, Star Wars, DC, and beyond.

This week we dive into WandaVision episodes 5 & 6. Even if you watched before you will enjoy and maybe learn something from our episode breakdowns. We also check out the latest trending hashtags on what cinematic universe should be restored next (this week it seems to be about Schumacher Batman FYI), check-in on Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan beard progress and other amusing topics.

Episode 009: A Mysterious Voice, WandaVision Eps 5 & 6, Loki and Chaos

Listen to this episode from The ‘Verse! on Spotify. This week we dive into WandaVision episodes 5 & 6. Even if you watched before you will enjoy and maybe learn something from our episode breakdowns.

Hello WandaVision? Yeah, the 80s called and they want their hairstyles back! Well maybe except for Vision’s… yeah Vision’s can definitely stay. That’s right! The decade you thought was completely erased from everyone’s memories is now Westview’s new reality and to make things even worse, somehow this picture-perfect reality is starting to fall apart. Norm blames it all on the mullets. But don’t worry because we quickly pass through the 80s at a supersonic speed thanks to a helpful guest appearance by Westfield’s version of Uncle Jesse(?) and BOOM! Just like that, we’re in the 2000s. ‘Verselings, you’re going to have to let us know what shows you watched as a child on Nick At Nite because the ‘Verse Squad seems to be experiencing a, how should you say it, generational gap surrounding nostalgic sitcoms.

News like the most recent trailer and poster for Loki are discussed too. Can we expect some Doctor Who vibes from the series? And even the latest sneak preview of Black Widow. Oh, and apparently Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth have a bigger bromance than our own Norm and Lucas as the duo celebrated 10 years of being MCU’s God of Mischief and Thunder.

‘Verselings! We have a lot of content to ask and share with you this week, so make sure to give us a follow on Twitter @TheVerseCast. We ALWAYS want to hear any and all fan theories, questions, maybe even some puns, from our audience. If you reach out you may even be featured in our next episode during The ‘Verse! Transmissions.

Steven Prusakowski has been a cinephile as far back as he can remember, literally. At the age of ten, while other kids his age were sleeping, he was up into the late hours of the night watching the Oscars. Since then, his passion for film, television, and awards has only grown. For over a decade he has reviewed and written about entertainment through publications including Awards Circuit and Screen Radar. He has conducted interviews with some of the best in the business - learning more about them, their projects and their crafts. He is a graduate of the RIT film program. You can find him on Twitter and Letterboxd as @FilmSnork – we don’t know why the name, but he seems to be sticking to it.
