We were sort of joking at first about this week looking like we would see a new Knives Out sequel cast member revealed each day, but now it looks like that actually is what the strategy is for the star-studded Netflix film.
With Daniel Craig already established to return in a new mystery for his Benoit Blanc character from Rian Johnson’s 2019 smash hit, this week has seen, in consecutive days, the announcements of Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, and Janelle Monáe added to the cast.
Well, we’ve got another big announcement today, as Deadline is reporting that Kathryn Hahn is the latest beloved actor to be signing on board. Production is set to begin this summer in Greece, and surely more names will be coming soon – probably another one tomorrow, if the rest of this week has been any indication.
The sequel to Knives Out will be the first of two additional entries in the series that will be released by Netflix, who paid a whopping $400 million to secure those rights.
