It’s that time of the week to step into The ‘Verse! – the podcast where we visit different corners of the cinematic universes from Marvel, Star Wars, DC, and beyond! Before we forget again, belated May the Fourth Be With You, Verslings! This week we dive into WandaVision episodes 3 & 4, share first reactions to Star Wars: The Bad Batch, chat about Amazon’s Invincible, and answer all your fan questions in the ‘Verse! Transmissions!
It’s been a groovy week in The ‘Verse! as WandaVision transported us back to the 70s but then catapulted us forward to 2023. We still don’t know what’s going on in Westview, NJ. However, we do know that some old MCU friends joined us in Episode 4 (Hint: One is a master at close-up magic tricks & the other used to study political science) AND we even saw two new MCU additions in Episode 3. If you haven’t seen Captain Marvel yet, or don’t remember the plot line, now would be a good time to have a movie night; trust us.
As you know, the ‘Verse Squad is very active on our Twitter page @TheVerseCast and so we had quite a few ‘Verse Transmissions to answer this week. We talked about everything from force sensitivity, to Robot Chicken, Spaceballs, and even Paul Rudd because why not. Also, make sure to tag on Star Wars: A New Hope to your movie night as we will revisit The ‘Verse Blindspots in one of our next episodes. If you haven’t listened to the ‘Verse Episode 7, make sure to give it a listen because one of our ‘Verse Squad members has never seen Star Wars (OH THE AGONY!) Don’t worry, we are slowly but surely training our padawan and we’d love to have you join us on such a journey.
Make sure to give us a follow on Twitter @TheVerseSquad and hit us up with any theories, fun questions, opinions, or just to chat. We STILL haven’t settled the viewing order of Star Wars debate.
Also check out the crown jewel of the podcast world, Awards Radar: The Podcast, featuring Joey Magidson, Myles Hughes, Me (Steven Prusakowski) and also some very special guests hosts.
