Edward Norton joins the cast of ‘Knives Out’ sequel

We said yesterday that the news of Dave Bautista joining the cast of the Knives Out sequel likely meant that more casting announcements would be dropping soon, and look at that, another big name if officially on board.

Deadline is reporting that Edward Norton is now set to join Bautista and the previously locked in Daniel Craig for the next Benoit Blanc mystery thriller.

The film is, of course, written and directed by Rian Johnson, the man who led the original Knives Out to massive critical and commercial success back in 2019. His shrewd business strategy of holding on to the rights for any potential followups is what allowed Johnson to bank a $400 million deal with Netflix for the streamer to distribute the next two(!) Knives Out films, starting with this one.

Norton’s involvement is a sign that this is set to be another star-studded adventure, with more major names surely set to be announced in the very near future. Keep on the lookout.
