HBO Max is Now Available on Roku!

Wonder Woman fans who are Roku customers just got an early holiday streaming gift: HBO Max is now (finally) available on Roku. HBO Max enters a new frontier on its path to world streaming domination with the streaming deal, giving Roku customers access to HBO shows and new movie releases. HBO and Roku had a little fun with the announcement today with a little back and forth on Twitter before making it official. 

The deal is a nice streaming gift for Roku customers with the release of Wonder Woman 1984 coming next week. The highly anticipated sequel to Wonder Woman is one of the first movies Warner Bros. is planning to release on HBO Max at the same time as its theatrical release. Warner Bros. recently announced all its 2021 movie releases will also be available on HBO Max.

HBO Max will be available in Roku’s ‘New and Notable’ section. HBO Max launched this summer and is  home to HBO original series. Classic movies and classic TV shows. In addition to Wonder Woman 1984, The Matrix 4, Dune, The Suicide Squad, and Space Jam: A New Legacy are also Warner Bros. movies that will also be available on HBO Max in 2021.
