European Films Awards Go for ‘Another Round’

Winners for the 2020 European Film Awards have been announced. Another Round, which is Denmark’s official Oscar submission for Best International Feature, won prizes for European Film, Director (for Thomas Vinterberg), Screenwriter (for Tobias Lindholm and Vinterberg), and Actor (for Mads Mikkelsen). Another notable winner is Collective, which won the documentary trophy and is Oscar-eligible both as Romania’s international entry and in the documentary category. Italy’s Hidden Away took home two prizes, for cinematography and costume design, and Paula Beer was crowned best actress for Undine.
