Be Very Afraid for Next ‘Halloween’

There are plenty of reasons to anticipate the end of 2020, and now horror fans have one more. Universal Pictures has chosen just before this Halloween to release a very brief teaser trailer for Halloween Kills, which is slated to debut in theaters on October 15th, 2021.

The Halloween franchise began in 1978 with the first film, directed by John Carpenter and starring Jamie Lee Curtis. Michael Myers was the signature villain in the classic slasher film. The series produced many sequels and was rebooted in 2007 with Rob Zombie behind the camera and without Curtis. The latest iteration came in 2018 with David Gordon Green taking over directing duties, and Curtis returning to star. There is a third film, Halloween Ends, scheduled to conclude Green’s trilogy and planned for release on October 14th, 2022.

The teaser trailer for Halloween Kills is just over thirty seconds long but still provides a number of moments that will enthrall devotees. Watch it below:
