Disney just made a blockbuster announcement as big as the films in discussion.
The next entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Black Widow has been postponed from November 6th, 2020 to May 7th, 2021. What’s unfortunate about Black Widow pushing their release, is that everything else in the MCU gets pushed because of it. So this means that Eternals got pushed to November 5th, 2021, instead of February 12, 2021. Shang Chi, which was slated for May 7th, 2021 will now be released July 9th, 2021.

Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story has also been postponed almost an entire year. Spielberg’s first musical was set to debut on December 18th 2020, but will now get released December 10th, 2021. The film had been getting a lot of early Oscar buzz, but it looks like it’ll have to wait a bit. But the 94th Oscars are shaping up to be something remarkable.
