Awards Radar Podcast #307: Joey is Joined by Special Guest Kate Schroeder of Access Hollywood to Recap the 2026 Telluride Film Festival

Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!

For episode 307, I’m joined by friend and colleague Kate Schroeder, producer at Access Hollywood, as this week’s co-host, with producer Steve Prusakowski working behind the scenes on the end of Emmy season content and, of course, TV Topics. This is our Telluride Film Festival recap, which Kate also attended (for the first time). We go over the films we both saw (all of which I’ve reviewed on the site), including highlights like Club Kid, The Debut, Wild Horse Nine, and You Can See Everything, as well as our overall experience. My ranking of what I saw at the festival, alongside my reviews and some awards, can be found here. Definitely let us know what you think of Kate, as she may well be a new addition to the show. Next week, if there’s a show and we’re not dark for a week, it’ll be TIFF time, but this one is laser focused on Telluride…

As always my friends and faithful listeners/readers, I do hope you all enjoy the latest episode of the Awards Radar Podcast, our 307th one to date (here’s to many more). Of course, feel free to revisit the previous installments by clicking the Podcast tab (here) on the top of the page. Plus, listen to us on Apple Podcasts (iTunes), Spotify, and other platforms. More to come each and every single week (or close to it), so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for listening!
