Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!
For episode 301, I’m joined by Maxance Vincent as this week’s co-host, with producer Steve Prusakowski working behind the scenes on Emmy season content and, of course, TV Topics. This time around, I intro Max, who will be occasionally sitting in as we figure out the new post-Myles normal, and we talk Spider-Man: Brand New Day. My rave review of the film can be found here, and we get into what Marvel is doing right with this one, as opposed to what they’ve been misfiring with lately. I also touch on Tony (rave review here), which leads to some Matt Johnson and Nirvanna the Band the Show (and Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie) talk. Throw in your questions, some fall festival chatter, and hopefully the show isn’t missing a beat…
As always my friends and faithful listeners/readers, I do hope you all enjoy the latest episode of the Awards Radar Podcast, our 301st one to date (here’s to many more). Of course, feel free to revisit the previous installments by clicking the Podcast tab (here) on the top of the page. Plus, listen to us on Apple Podcasts (iTunes), Spotify, and other platforms. More to come each and every single week (or close to it), so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for listening!
