Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!
This is the big episode 300, and I’m joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes, with producer Steve Prusakowski working behind the scenes on Emmy season content and, of course, TV Topics. For 300, Myles has seen The Odyssey (my rave review is here), so we get in deep with Christopher Nolan‘s latest. We also tackle Nolan’s full filmography (my ranking is here), as well as several of your questions. Finally, we wrap with the announcement from Myles that he will be departing the show, with this being his final episode as a regular. So, be sure to wish him well, though he may return from time to time, when certain releases of note hit, like Resident Evil, etc. We may be taking next week off, but when we return, either next week or in August with 301 and beyond, there will be rotating guest co-hosts for a bit, as we figure out what works for the future of the show. Bear with us for a bit, though to be clear, the podcast is not ending, just reimagining things…
As always my friends and faithful listeners/readers, I do hope you all enjoy the latest episode of the Awards Radar Podcast, our 300th one to date (here’s to many more, in whatever form they take). Of course, feel free to revisit the previous installments by clicking the Podcast tab (here) on the top of the page. Plus, listen to us on Apple Podcasts (iTunes), Spotify, and other platforms. More to come each and every single week, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for listening!
