Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!
For episode 296, I’m joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes, with producer Steve Prusakowski working behind the scenes on Emmy season content and, of course, TV Topics. This time around, we start off on a sad note, as I talk a bit about the loss this week of my dog, Bentley. I wrote about him here, and he will be profoundly missed. After that, we’re back on the movie train, discussing a variety of titles, including and older title like True Lies, as well as new/recent releases like Supergirl (reviewed here), They Will Kill You (reviewed here), and Toy Story 5 (reviewed here). Plus, I mention a July gem in I Want Your Sex. It’s been a tough few days, so getting to this with Myles truly was a relief, so thank you for listening, and thank you for understanding as this episode dropped a bit later on in the week than usual…
