Curry Barker’s Next Film to Be Made at Universal with Blumhouse Atomic Monster

To call Obsession a hit is to do its improbable success a real disservice. The debut film from Curry Barker has not just launched a new horror storyteller, while being insanely profitable, it’s genuinely taken Hollywood by storm. So, it’s no surprise that there would be a major competition for Barker’s next movie. Well, now we know who will be distributing it. More below.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal Film Group, along with Blumhouse Atomic Monster, has landed Barker’s follow-up to Obsession. Barker has already shot his sophomore feature, Anything But Ghosts, and that has a home at Focus, so he remains within the Universal family, as it were. No word on what the film is about, but excitement in the industry is high, so stay tuned for details as they emerge.
