Throughout the New York Knicks championship run this postseason, a mainstay court side has been Ben Stiller. A longtime Knicks fan, he could be seen cheering, as well as filming on his cell phone. Well, in addition to that passion, he’s also been able to put a documentary together on the team’s magical run. More below.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stiller has partnered with A24 and HBO, as well as the NBA, for the doc. It will trace the team’s history, leading up to this season’s title. The entire history will be covered, with a particular focus on the 90s until now, with more filming planned next season. So, any Knicks fans have a movie to look forward to, once Stiller completes it.
