Ever since The Brutalist became a major Academy Award player and eventual Oscar winner (among ten nominations, it took home three), extra attention has been paid to what actor turned filmmaker Brady Corbet would do for a follow up. We’d already heard that his next film had a rumored title of The Origin of the World, though that was about it. Now, we know of a pretty big star who could be joining the movie. More below.
According to Variety, Michael Fassbender is in negotiations for a role. Nothing is known about the plot or who Fassbender could be playing, but Selena Gomez is also rumored to be involved. The only real thing Corbet has said was that it would be rated X and take place mostly in the 1970’s, so make of that what you will. In the meantime, stay tuned for further details when they arise.
