Shawn Levy just finished work on his Star Wars film, Star Wars: Starfighter, so attention turns towards his next project. Well, he’s found a movie, and it’s an original science fiction story over at Netflix. Read on for details.
According to Variety, Levy will direct Somewhere Out There for Netflix. Written by Max Taxe, it’s in the emotional sci-fi register of something like Levy’s own prior Netflix film The Adam Project. Here, the movie centers on a grieving father who, after losing his wife, sends a message to the stars, only to have something start talking back. More on this one as we have it.
