Official Trailer for ‘Tony’ Sees Matt Johnson and Dominic Sessa Exploring the Early Days of Anthony Bourdain

This morning, A24 released the first official trailer for Tony, Matt Johnson‘s film about young Anthony Bourdain. Dominic Sessa plays the title character, with the rest of the cast including Antonio Banderas, Dagmara Dominczyk, Emilia Jones, Stavros Halkias, Rich Sommers, and Leo Woodall. Coming the same year as Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie, this looks to really show Johnson’s range behind the camera. The movie will be out this summer.

The plot synopsis for the film, via A24, is as follows:

A 19-year-old Anthony Bourdain travels to Provincetown and stumbles into the chaotic world of a restaurant kitchen, setting off a summer that will shape the course of his life.
