Christopher Nolan Says ‘The Odyssey’ is Shorter than ‘Oppenheimer’

There was never a world in which Christopher Nolan‘s The Odyssey was going to be a short film. Nolan rarely makes short movies, with only a few of his works coming in at under two hours long. So, there’s an expectation that this epic is going to have an epic runtime. Well, that’s probably true, though the auteur has revealed that it won’t be as long as some have speculated upon. More below.

According to Variety, Nolan has stated that The Odyssey has a shorter running time than Oppenheimer. That sure leaves a lot of wiggle room, considering that Nolan’s last movie was three hours long on the dot, but at least we know this one is under that. We’ll probably find out an official length before long, but at the moment, the film has a maximum time, at least.
