NEON Acquires Bong Joon-Ho Animated Film ‘Ally’

Bong Joon-Ho and NEON have had a fruitful partnership in the past, having teamed up for Parasite. Oscar wins for Best Picture and Best Director, just to name two, points to a real success. Now, they’re together again, this time for the filmmaker’s upcoming animated film.

According to Deadline, NEON has acquired Ally, which is the first animated work from the auteur. The distributor is planning to release the movie in 2027, so look for this one to be a potential Best Animated Feature contender then. More as it happens.
