Awards Radar Podcast #287: Joey and Myles Play Some Games Before Discussing the Concept of the ‘Michael’ Movie

Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!

For episode 287, I’m joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes, with producer Steve Prusakowski working behind the scenes on Emmys and TV Topics. This episode ends up being a bit freestyle, as the topics just sort of come to us. There’s some games, both old and new, as well as some final CinemaCon chatter. However, a question regarding Michael Jackson and the Michael movie leads to an extended conversation. Neither of us have seen or intend to see the film, but musical biopics, and especially this one, get discussed. We also talk a bit about Exit 8 (reviewed here) now that Myles has seen it. Throw in a few other questions, as well as a video game related ending, and we get to more than you might expect, given the open-ended nature of the episode.
