Longlegs was one of the surprise horror hits of the past several years. Our own Joey Magidson led the charge in raving about it (here in his review), even winding up with a quote on the Blu-ray box cover. Starring Nicolas Cage as the titular killer and Maika Monroe as the agent on his trail, filmmaker Osgood Perkins tapped into something with the project. Now, he’s coming back for more. Details below.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cage and Perkins are getting back together for a new Longlegs movie. The film is moving from NEON to Paramount, with nothing really known about it except that it’s not a sequel, and instead set within the Longlegs universe. So, prepare yourself for something new and unsettling to come.
