Final Trailer for ‘Train Dreams’ Drops Before Netflix Release Tomorrow

The final trailer for Train Dreams has been released. Written and directed by Clint Bentley, and co-written by Greg Kwedar, the film is based on the novella of the same name by Denis Johnson and stars Joel Edgerton, Felicity Jones, Clifton Collins Jr, Kerry Condon, William H. Macy, and Will Patton.

Here is the plot synopsis:

“Based on Denis Johnson’s beloved novella, Train Dreams is the moving portrait of Robert Grainier, a logger and railroad worker who leads a life of unexpected depth and beauty in the rapidly-changing America of the early 20th Century.”

Our editor-in-chief, Joey Magidson, reviewed the film on the site and states that “Train Dreams has a quiet power to it that sneaks up on you. In some ways, it’s an interesting companion piece to The Life of Chuck from earlier this year. Both flicks are about the extraordinary nature of an ordinary life, though tackling things, aside from a notable voice as narrator, in very different manners.”

You can read his full thoughts on the movie here.
