Official Trailer for ‘Marty Supreme’ Released By A24

This morning, A24 has released the first official trailer for Marty Supreme, from Josh Safdie. A ping pong or table tennis sports drama, Timothée Chalamet stars in the title role. After debuting to some real acclaim as the Secret Screening at the 2025 New York Film Festival, the movie is scheduled to be released on Christmas.

Even with the trailer now being out, A24 still lists this as being the only official plot synopsis: “Marty Mauser, a young man with a dream no one respects, goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness.” Chalamet leads a cast that includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara, and Fran Drescher. Safdie directs the film, while co-writing with Ronald Bronstein.
