Trailer for ‘Scream 7’ Slices its Way Online

This morning, Paramount Pictures unleashed the first official trailer for Scream 7, bringing back Ghostface. The film is directed by original franchise writer Kevin Williamson, with the screenplay by Guy Busick and Williamson, from a story by Busick and James Vanderbilt. Notably, Neve Campbell returns to the series after sitting the last one out. Campbell is joined in the cast by returning players Courtney Cox, Mason Gooding, and Jasmin Savoy Brown (plus Roger L. Jackson as the voice of Ghostface), alongside newcomers Isabel May and Joel McHale. Notably, the movie will also bring back David Arquette, Scott Foley, and Matthew Lillard in some form, all of which have died in previous outings. Scream 7 cuts its way into theaters on February 27th.

The synopsis for the film is as follows:

When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.
