Netflix Acquires Rights to Joseph Gordon-Levitt Directed AI Thriller That Rachel McAdams is Attached to Star In

The next film Joseph Gordon-Levitt is planing to direct has been a hot commodity. The AI thriller has made the rounds through the industry since last year, with multiple studios interested. Well, now we know which one has emerged victorious and acquired the rights.

According to Deadline, Netflix has won the race for the project. Gordon-Levitt wanted the film there after a meeting, so it seems like all parties are happy. JGL co-wrote the movie with Kieran Fitzgerald, the plot of which is under wraps for now. Additionally, Rachel McAdams is attached to star, so this could come together fairly quickly.
