The first trailer for Park Chan-wook‘s highly acclaimed dark comedy No Other Choice has been released online. Written by Park Chan-wook, Don McKellar, Lee Kyoung-mi, and Jahye Lee, the film stars Lee Byung Hun, Son Ye-jin, Park Hee-soon, Lee Sung-min, Yeom Hye-ryun, and Cha Seung-won.
Here is the plot synopsis:
“The story follows Man-su on his desperate hunt for a new job after his abrupt layoff from the paper company he served for 25 years.”
There is obviously more to this, but the best way to see any Park Chan-wook movie is to know (and watch) as little as possible beforehand. Thankfully, the trailer hides some of No Other Choice’s biggest surprises. You do not want to miss this one on the big screen.
Watch it below, and see the film in select theatres on Christmas Day, with a further expansion planned in January:
