‘No Other Choice’ Selected By South Korea As Its Oscar Submission

As awards season begins to be on the horizon, the submissions by various countries for Best International Feature are going to begin trickling in. France has a big decision to make in regards to their pick. South Korea, on the other hand, seemed to have an obvious one, which they set in stone yesterday.

According to Variety, the Korean Film Council has selected Park Chan-wook‘s No Other Choice to represent the country as its official Oscar submission. Right now, the movie seems like a good bet for a nomination and potentially one of the frontrunners to win the Academy Award, though it’s very early right now. So, stay tuned.
