The First Poster for ‘The Odyssey’ Is Here as the Trailer Plays in Theatres Now!

The first poster for Christopher Nolan‘s The Odyssey is here. Written and directed by Nolan, the movie will star Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, Elliot Page, Himesh Patel, Bill Irwin, Samantha Morton, Jesse Garcia, Will Yun Lee, Mia Goth, Corey Hawkins, and Cosmo Jarvis.

The film will mark a significant turning point for Nolan, as it will be the first-ever fiction film to shoot entirely on IMAX 15/70mm cameras. Nolan has always been a pioneer of large-format photography, but has never shot a movie entirely on those cameras. However, IMAX has developed new 70mm cameras to facilitate the process of shooting an entire movie to be projected on those giant screens.

The trailer is also playing in front of Jurassic World Rebirth and will be playing in front of several major films this month without releasing online. As you await your next trip to the cinema, you can look at the poster below and see the movie in theatres on July 17, 2026:
