Lt. Frank Drebin is back! Well, it seems Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. is here, as we have the teaser trailer for The Naked Gun. Seemingly a sequel to the original Leslie Nielsen franchise, this one has Liam Neeson in the lead role, with Akiva Schaffer directing. The teaser is short, but it is pretty promising, which makes this action comedy something perhaps to look forward to. With a release date of August 1st, it could be just what we need as the summer begins wrapping up.

Only one man has the particular set of skills… to lead Police Squad and save the world! Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. (Liam Neeson) follows in his father’s footsteps in THE NAKED GUN, directed by Akiva Schaffer (Saturday Night Live, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping) and from producer Seth MacFarlane (Ted, Family Guy). Joining the case are cast Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, with Danny Huston.
