‘Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse’ Sets a 2027 Release Date

Over at CinemaCon, Sony has finally let folks know when they’ll be able to actually see Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. After all, the first release date for the conclusion to this animated trilogy was March 29th, 2024. That obviously didn’t happen, with the movie not being on the calendar for a while, fueling fears of it being canceled. That’s not the case, though the scheduled date is not particularly close.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse has got a release date set of June 4th, 2027. It seems very far away, to be sure, but with how much work goes into these animated films, it does mean that no corners are being cut. We’ll see plenty more from this one in the months and years to come, though the anticipation can begin to commence now.
