Warner Bros. today has revealed a host of changes to their release calendar. We have high profile titles moving from 2025 to 2026, as well as vice-versa, plus a few less jarring shifts. It comes as WB is preparing for CinemaCon later on this month. The films are detailed below, though as always, these could just be the first moves of many.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Maggie Gyllenhaal’s movie The Bride is having a challenging post production process, so it’s moving from September 26th of this year to March 6th of next year. Taking that late September slot is Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, which no longer is a summer release, having been previously scheduled for August 8th. On the other side of the spectrum, WB has opted to bump up Zach Cregger’s Weapons int 2025. Initially planned for a 2026 release date of January 11th, it’s grabbing that August date. The piece has some other titles moving around, but these are the highlights. Adjust your calendars accordingly.
