Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day! Admittedly, this is not a holiday that I always am particularly on board with. Yes, that does tend to have a lot to do with whether I’m single or not, but I’m only human. Well, let’s just say that this year I’m on board with the holiday, so it hits differently. I’m happy again, so sue me. As such, we wanted to have a special Awards Radar Community post for you all to enjoy today, 24 hours before the big day. So, the Awards Radar Community Question is related to the holiday. In short, if you’re watching a film for Valentine’s Day, what are you going to be watching? We’re eager to find out!
There are a ton of options that I’d like to present once again, but I’ll keep it brief. If you’re in a Richard Curtis mood (and I often am), you could watch either About Time or Love Actually. Other tear-jerker options include Blue Valentine, City of Angels, The Fault in Our Stars, and The Notebook. On the lighter side, there’s The 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, or Trainwreck if you’re down with Judd Apatow. Kevin Smith fans like myself would potentially get a kick out of watching either Jersey Girl or Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Plus, if you want to head out to the theaters, a really great option would be none other than Heart Eyes (raved about here). Whatever your Valentine’s Day mood, there’s something to consider, without question.
Folks, as always, I do hope you all have a great Valentine’s Day tomorrow, treating either yourself or your significant other (or some combination of both). Whether you’re going out to eat, staying in, or watching a film somewhere, hopefully it’s a lovely time. If you’re watching a movie, be it at home or in theaters, do let us know what you watched/are watching. We’re all ears…
What are you planning to watch on Valentine’s Day? Let us know!
