The second teaser for Presence has been released online. Directed by Steven Soderbergh, and written by David Koepp, the movie stars Lucy Liu, Julia Fox, Chris Sullivan, Calliana Liang, and Eddy Maday.
Here is the plot synopsis:
“A family discover they are not alone when they move into a new house.”
Our editor-in-chief, Joey Magidson, just saw the movie at the Toronto International Film Festival, and praised the movie’s confidence in its experimental nature, stating, “Soderbergh’s direction and cinematography (he also serves as editor), however, are very much on point. There’s control in his form here that keeps you invested. Scenes drift in and out as the spirit becomes more or less invested in what’s going on. It feels like you’re a specter observing the family, which is fairly hard to pull off.” You can read his full thoughts on the movie here.
